Allen Tidwell

Mr. Allen Eugene Tidwell, age 81, of Hendersonville, passed away on December 14, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1941 in Fairview, TN to the late Lester and Francis Tidwell.

Allen loved spending time feeding the squirrels from his back yard. He also enjoyed race cars, hunting, and fishing. One of his greatest accomplishments was being a Pawpaw to his grandchildren, they were the light of his life.

Allen is survived by his wife of, 56 years, Mrs. Nell Tidwell; daughters, Rita Flatt (Duane Hale) and Sandy Garmon; sons, Randy (Laura) Birdwell and Terry Birdwell; grandchildren, Whitney, Stephanie, Brooke, Jessie, Kristina, Sherri, and Terri; great grandchildren, Carter, Finley, Tate, Brandon, Shawn, and MacKenzie; and brother, Donald Tidwell.

A life celebration will be held at 10am on Monday, December 19th in the chapel at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville with burial 2pm at Venson Cemetery in Jackson County Tennessee. Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 12-6pm.
