Winnifred H. Armistead, age 68 of Adairville, Kentucky formerly of Gallatin passed away on Friday October 12, 2007 at NorthCrest Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth K. Hunter. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Armistead, Sons; Joel Armistead Tracey, Kevin Armistead Renea, and Eric Armistead Rhonda, Grandchildren; Ben, Justin, Phillip, Jordan, Zach, Morgan, Jared, and Hunter, Father, Leon T. Hunter Nancye, Brother, George Hunter Joyce, Sister, Leona Morris. Mrs. Armistead was a Past Worthy Matron of the Bethpage Chapter #5 OES. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Adairville Baptist Church in Adairville, Kentucky with Bro. Carl Freudenthal and Bro Tom Lawhon officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lottie Moon Group of Adairville Baptist Church, and the Three North Nurses of NorthCrest Medical Center. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday at 12 noon until service time at the Adairville Baptist Church.
