Winnie Shaw

SHAW, Winona A, Winnie, May 7, 2006. She was born in Sparta, TN to Katy Lucy O'Connor Johnston and John Benton Johnston and graduated from Tennessee Polytechnic Institute. She was a life long business partner with her late husband, Jerry Shaw in several business ventures. Preceded in death by her husband Jerry Shaw and brother T. Stanton Hale. Survived by her daughter Lynda K. James Shaw Black, granddaughters Alina Black and Briana Black, niece Elizabeth Stanton Hale Cooke, nephew Frank Joseph Hale and four grand nephews. Visitation will be from 6pm til 8pm, Tuesday, May 9, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Services will be conducted 3:30pm, Wednesday, May 10, at Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers: John Hood, H.L. McDole, B.J. Riley, Frank Hale, David Lehman and Bobby Luck. Honorary pallbearers: Richard Baker, Doug Cope and Aaron Hale. Entombment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Alive Hospice at 1718 Patterson, Nashville, TN 37203.
