Winder Emery

Winder L. Emery, age 77 of Castalian Springs, passed away April 13, 2011 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. Emery and Sarah Buchanan Emery. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn D. Emery of Castalian Springs, daughter, Angela Paul Bosch of Castalian Springs; brother David Ann Emery of Brentwood; 3 grandchildren, Heather Hall and Brittney Haller of Hendersonville, and Adam Haller of Clarksville; 3 great-grandchildren; niece, Lynda Ty Ragsdale and nephew, Carl Monica Emery. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 16th at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 17 of Gallatin Youth Organization.
