AYERS, Wilma (Hoppy) �- Born July 21, 1923 �- died July 18, 2009. Loving Mom, MaMas, and sister with many friends. Preceded in death by husband, Morris E. Ayers; parents, Walter and Alice Smith; sisters, Frances Avaritt and Leila Gober. Survived by two wonderful sisters, her best friends, Waldean Martin and Ella Martin; daughter, Faye Tatum (Jackie); sons, Mike Ayers, Mack Ayers (Keene) and Bill Ayers (Sue); grandchildren, Kellye Cunningham, Chip Parnell (Mischelle), Troy Tatum (Risa), Elizabeth Stoner (Dan) , Corey Tatum (Michelle), Morris Ayers (Jessica), Paula Lampman (John), Susan Johnson (David), Jason Ayers, Sara Harris (Clay), Jessica Sanes (Jeff), Frank Ayers, Brianna Neufeld (Aaron); 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 21 from 2 �- 8 p.m. Service 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Officiating, Rev. Virginia Kesson and Brother Bill Roark. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Honorary pallbearers, J. E. G. Sunday School Class. Interment, Forest Lawn, Goodlettsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
