William Cullum "Cory" Yardley, RN, BSN, CCRN, PCCN passed away at his home Saturday, August 18th, 2018. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Yardley and his maternal grandmother, Joy Cross. He is survived by his parents, Marty and Donna Yardley; twin sister, Megan Yardley; grandparents, Jo Ann Yardley, Don and Marianne Howell; and many precious aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cory graduated from high school in White House, where he was a member of the Blue Devils marching band. He was a member of the national honor society and was still continuing his studies. Cory loved to read and learn. He graduated Cum Laude from UT Martin in 2014 and was pursuing his Masters Degree which he was to receive this November. He had aspirations of continuing his education and earning his PhD. As a youth, Cory played little league baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed fishing. He was a kind, funny, bright and compassionate young man. He was well respected and loved in his professional life as well and will be sorely missed by the families he came into contact with as well as his coworkers and fellow caregivers at Centennial. Visitation for Cory will be held Tuesday, August 21st., 2018 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. A Life Celebration Service will be held Wednesday, Aust 22nd at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude.
