William Standley

William Standley, affectionately called “Bill” by his loved ones, passed away on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 after a long battle with illness. Bill worked in the automotive business for 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Decatur Franklin and Lora May Standley; sisters Dorothy Butner, Mary Frances Benedict, Jean Hendricks, Shirley Shockney, and Patricia Mack; brothers Joe Standley and Thomas Standley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Standley; children Belinda Sheryl Standley, William Franklin Standley (Vicky), and Vincent Brian Standley; grandchildren Joshua Nutter, Beau Standley, DJ Lisch, Ryan Lisch, Jessica Standley and Nicholas Standley; five great grandchildren; two nephew like sons Jay and Steve Standley; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation for William “Bill” Standley will be held Friday, November 18th, 2022 at Cole & Garret Funeral Home & Cremation 127 North Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at 1:00pm location Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 103 Golf Club Ln, Springfield, Tn 37172. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed through Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Facebook page.
