William Meadows

William Doyle Meadows, 80, of Gallatin, TN passed away at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born in Lewisburg, TN on October 14, 1941 to the late Roy Meadows and Julene Walls Meadows. Doyle was also preceded in death by his second wife, Sandra Meadows. He was a longtime Goodlettsville resident and had graduated with the Goodlettsville High School class of 1959. An electronics technician he owned and operated a television repair business for many years in Goodlettsville. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed supporting the Tennessee Titans, Vanderbilt, and the Atlanta Braves in his free time. Doyle also enjoyed socializing over a game of pool. He is survived by three children, Mike Meadows (Kelly), Jerry Meadows, and Sonja Meadows Zimmerle (Jeff); his sister, Yvonne McCoin; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Doyle’s life will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville at 2 PM, Saturday, May 28th. Inurnment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 PM at the funeral home.
