William Lyles

LYLES, William J. age 87 passed away on April 14, 2010. He was a 25 year member of Deeper Life Assembly Church and he served in WWII as an Army Sergeant for the 42nd Rainbow Division. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys Lyles; children, William D. Lyles, Patricia Carol Ronnie Berry, Brenda Joy David Gray, Chere Elaine Allen Stanford; 7 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Lyles was loved by all who knew him. Funeral services will be on Friday at 12 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home with David Gray and Allen Stanford officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. Ronnie Berry, Jr., Brian Lyles, Kevin Lyles, Shane Cunningham, Cam Jones, Marlon Cunningham, Jeff Daniel and Gabe Stanford will serve as pallbearers.
