William Hite

HITE, William Thomas - of Greenbrier on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at age 77 after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Hite; one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jacquelyn Faulk Hite; son, Michael Thomas Hite (Cathleen); daughter, Debi Parker (Kim); grandchildren, Bailey Dare Henley (Jimmy), Jason Parker, Jordan Hite; great-grandchildren, Jaden Henley, William Andrew Parker. Mr. Hite was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War and in Europe. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Springfield; a graduate of Father Ryan High School; a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus; 43 year employee of Commerce Union Bank; member of the American Legion Post #88. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Honorary pallbearers are Dan Murphy, Paul Murphy, Theodore Freeman, Knights of Columbus. Active pallbearers are Jason Parker, Johnny Boyd, Jamie Faulk, Mac Hunter, Thomas Kent, Red McClary. Interment at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. today (Saturday) and 2 - 8 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary will be said from 6 - 7 p.m. at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville.
