William Handlan

Handlan, William Carroll died January 21 2010, in Nashville, TN. Born in Wheeling, W VA. Mr. Handlan was preceeded in death by wife Eleanor Brandfass Handlan and daughter Sara Jackson Handlan. Survived by daughters Susan Keffer, Margaret Handlan and husband Loren Courtney, grandchildren Kelly Keffer, Ben Keffer, Lisa Courtney and Lynda Courtney , brother Jay Handlan and his wife Betsy. Mr. Handlan attended Linsley Military Institute and served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Handlan retired from Jack Daniels Distillery as vice president of advertising after 23 years. Mr. Handlan loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, gardening, photography and mostly golf. Many will miss him. Services to be held January 28th at Christ Church at 900 Broadway Ave in Nashville.
