William Godfrey Gober, born in Nashville, TN on September 24, 1950. Passed away on May 18, 2017 at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Pauline Gober; brothers, David Gober and James Gober, sisters, Betty Booker and Vera Dickens. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Gober,; son, Travis Gober; daughter, Tina (Steven) Gray; grandchildren, Angel Slaven, Alison Gray, Jordan Gray, Joseph Gober, and Katilyn Gober; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Slaven; his siblings, Kenneth Gober, Lila Caudill, Dale Gober, Jerry Gober, Pam High, Shelia Simon, and Theresa Hobdy. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House on Sunday May 21 from 12 noon until 8pm, and on Monday May 22 from 8 am until service time at 2pm with Jerry Campbell and Josh Farthing, officiating. Interment Gideon Cemetery.
