William Dickerson

William A. Dickerson, age 88 of Castalian Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. A native of Smith County, he was born to the late William and Jettie Dickerson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evie Lee Dickerson; grandson, Jeffrey Dias; granddaughter-in-law, Sara Rae Dias; six sisters; and one brother. He is survived by his son, Fred Dickerson Neeka of Bethpage; daughter, Vanessa Graham Jimmy of Castalian Springs; grandchildren, Annette Gupton Clay of Murfreesboro, Elaine Jennings Shawn of Murfreesboro, William Michael Dickerson Stephanie of Atlanta, GA., Jeff Dickerson Mikki of Fountain Run, KY, Steve Dias Heidi of Lavergne; 9 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great-Grandchild; brother, Lucian Dickerson Melbadean. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bro. Guthrie Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Gallatin Memory Gardens at Crestview. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
