William Cole

COLE, William Herbert, Sr. - Age 83 of Nashville on Monday, November 26, 2007. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Nipper Cole. Survived by his son, William H. (Wynn) Cole Jr.; daughter, Judy (Lloyd) Land; grandchildren, Shelley (Keith) Evans, Holley (Curt) Collier, Amy (Jason) Kelley, Gregg (Kristi) Cole; 7 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their thanks to Mrs. Reba Nash for her loving care and support of their father. Mr. Cole is a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp, serving during WWII as a Sergeant. He was retired from Ford Glass Plant. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Vickers will officiate. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Goodlettsville Senior Spirits and members of the UAW Local 737. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville and from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
