MOSLEY, Wilda Ione passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 11, 2008 at the age of 83, after a lengthy illness. The daughter of Florence Anderson and Eron Paul Boyette, she was born in Trimble, Tennessee. She was married to the late Thomas Joseph Mosley who proceded her in death in 1999. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Vernon Boyette. She is survived by brother, Ronald Boyette and sister, Wilma Dean Mosley; three sons, James Thomas Edie Mosley, Charles Mosley and David Dusty Mosley; Five grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Donelson Place for all their support and care. She was especially fond of Christmas and made it very special for everyone, not just family. She worked for Harvey's Department store as a buyer for 25 years and was on a bowling league for 23 years. She was in the church choir at McClurkan Memorial Nazarene all her life and served on the Board of Directors many years. She was devoted to her family and was a wonderful wife and mother , as well as grandmother and friend to those who had no family. She was called mother by many who were not her children. She was loved by many. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 pm on Tuesday evening, May 13th. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the charity of your choice. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the graveside on Wednesday May 14th at 11:00 am, with Rev. Bill Smith officiating at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 Hwy 100, 646-9292 www.harpethhills.com.
