Wayne Watson

Wayne Watson, 78, formerly of Greenbrier passed away Tuesday April 28, 2020. Born January 26, 1942 in Springfield, TN, he was the son of the late Hicks Watson, Sr. and Lena (Elam) Watson. Wayne was also preceded in death by his step-father, Shelby Chapman. Wayne served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He had been employed by Oscar Mayer and later by Ryder. Wayne is survived by his wife Faye Watson; his children, Brian (Leah) Watson, Darin (Tracy) Watson, Susan Cicora, and Niki (Jeff) Smith; 6 grandchildren, Michael Watson, Jex Watson, Brax Watson, Dalen Cicora, Alden Cicora, and Joanna Smith; and 1 great-granddaughter, Lucille Watson. Family visitation was held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN, Saturday May 2, 2020 followed by a graveside service with military honors at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Springfield, TN.
