Washie "Doc" Randolph, age 93 of Goodlettsville passed away July 11, 2015. Mr. Randolph was born on October 4, 1921 in White Co., TN to the late Riley and Alice Randolph. Mr. Randolph was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather; he served proudly in the Merchant Marines during World War II and retired from Dupont in 1982 with 37 years of service as an electrician; he was also a Deacon and Greeter at First Baptist Goodlettsville where he was a member for almost 80 years. An avid golfer and sports fan, he could often be found cheering for the Vanderbilt Commodores and Atlanta Braves; he loved to garden and was a true handyman who could fix anything. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Bryant and brother, Grady Randolph. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Mary Grey Randolph; children, Anita Carol Adams (Bob), Melinda Lee Brown (Chris) and Lee Douglas Randolph (Tina); 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Honeycutt; sister-in-law, Nancy Thompson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, July 13th at 12:00 P.M. from First Baptist Church Goodlettsville with Bro. Lyle Larson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be on Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00 A.M. in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be: Aaron Adams, Jason Adams, Jonathan Adams, Alan Brown, Brandon Randolph, Drake Culbreath, Jim Thompson, Terry Thompson, Steve Thompson, Ronnie Carter and James Sutton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Timothy Martin and the members of the Keenagers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Goodlettsville Missions Fund.
