Walter Scott

Walter Edward "Eddie" Scott, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away November 9, 2007. Eddie was a loyal husband and father. He was a dedicated employee of 20 + years with AAA Cooper Transportation, where he will be remembered for the many awards he received as token of his dedication to the company. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Hobbs and his daughter, Deidre. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Pat Shoemake Scott; his children, Renee John Rodman, Terri Darrell Craig, Kevin Kim Scott and Kim Todd Winters; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his brother, Richard Scott; his sister, Joyce Atwood; and his mother-in-law, Edna Shoemake. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. John Hitz officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, November 11, 2007 from 2-8 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2007 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and again on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
