WWII Veteran 6 Battle Stars from August 13, 1940-June 28, 1945 2nd Armored Division . Preceded in death by parents, G.B. and Ethel Young Brinkley; grandson, Anthony Andrew Brinkley. Survived by wife, Frances Brinkley; children, Anita Brinkley, Debra Kenneth Beckham, Wallace Kathy Brinkley, Phyllis Roy Broadway; sister, Doris Plunkett; grandchildren, Michelle Nick Lee, Wayne Miriam Chumley, Kelly Chumley, Chris Chumley, Michael Karen Beckham, Jeffrey Beckham, David Amanda Beckam, Matthew Brittney Brinkley, William Tyler Brinkley, Shannon Nicole Brinkley, Stephen Todd Broadway, Stephanie Renee Broadway; 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. , Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Middle TN Veteran's Cemetery.
