DOWNEY, Virgil Carlton Jr., age 72, of Gallatin passed away on June 28, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Peggy Downey, sons; Les Williams of White House, TN, and Ben Williams of Hendersonville, TN, grandchildren; Laura Williams of Hendersonville, Jordan Williams of Nashville, Jaima Williams of Nashville and Alexa Williams of Hendersonville, sisters; Bertha Draughon of Collierville, TN and Barbara Purvis of Nashville and brother William Richard Downey of Collierville, TN, and three nephews. Visitation will be from 4pm til 8pm, Thursday, June 29, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11am, Friday, June 30, at Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon, TN.
