Verum Burnett, Jr.

BURNETT, Verum Wesley Jr., age 86, Nashville, April 6, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Jane Burnett; daughter, Suzanne Richardson; sons, George and Stevie Pam Burnett; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Lovell and Mary Parnell. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of the VFW Post 1970. He worked at the Post and Cummings Sign Company until 1985. The graveside service will be at 11am, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
