Vergie Mai Honeycutt, age 79, of Goodlettsville, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and worked diligently in her church in the Women's Ministry and carried baskets to Skyline Hospital for the waiting rooms.
Vergie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hayden Honeycutt; and son, Johnny Wayne Honeycutt; and parents, Ernest Benton and Annie Jones.
She is survived by children, Ronnie (Debbie) Honeycutt, Gail (Mike) Kuzma, Sherry (Steve) Marlin, Kay (Danny) Hale; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Betty Sue Jones Hall; several treasured brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm Friday and from 12-2pm Saturday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Saturday with Bros. David Kemp, Steve Marlin, Danny Hale and Nelson Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
