Valoura Hamlett

HAMLETT, Valoura Reece "Viola" - 91 of Goodlettsville, passed away March 8, 2007. She retired from Standard Candy Company and was a longtime member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Nathan Hamlett; son, Winford Hamlett; brothers, Virgil, Victor & Vestal Reece; sisters, Vergie Violette & Versie Dickson. She is survived by her son, Robert (Maxine) Hamlett; daughters, Betty (Tommy) Elder & Dot (Sam) Cartwright; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; special friends, Fran & Fred Belt and Heidi. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8pm. Services will be held Monday, 2pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Baugh & Bro. Ray Eanes officiating. Pallbearers will be James Cole, Daran McQuaig, Lee Hamlett, David Elder, Bobby Dickerson & Fred Belt. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
