Tonya Church

Ms. Tonya Church, age 62, passed away on April 20, 2023, in Nashville, TN. She was born on October 25, 1960, to the late Fred Brown Smith and Judith Ann McCoin Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Tony Darryl Smith.

Tonya is survived by her daughters, Tania A. Smith Avrin (Jeffrey) and Emma C. Church; brother, Michael Todd “Bo” Smith; grandson, Thomas Liam Smith and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

Tonya spent many years working at her father's shop, Fred Smith's Transmission as a secretary and bookkeeper.

A life celebration will be held at 3pm, Sunday, April 30th in the chapel of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville, Tn. Family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service.
