Tom House, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Portland, Tennessee, at the age of 67. Born on October 27, 1956, in Corydon, Indiana, Tom's life was characterized by a rich tapestry of hard work, humor, and love for his family.  He was the son of the late Elvin House and Loretta Eastridge House.

Professionally, Tom was formerly an area supervisor and project manager for Rogers Group, Incorporated.  He was currently employed with Hoover Materials where he was a plant manager since 2013. His dedication to his work was evident in his wonderful work ethic. Colleagues admired him for his quick wit and engaging personality, often recalling the playful pranks he delighted in and the laughter he brought to the workplace.

Tom's vibrant spirit extended beyond his professional life. He cherished time spent with his family, particularly enjoying trips to Hawaii. His daughter, Whitni, and his grandchildren, Hayden Oeser, Connor Jenkins, and Aspen Jenkins, were at the center of his universe, and he took immense pride in their achievements and happiness. He was a loyal supporter of the University of Indiana basketball team and had a passion for watching NASCAR races, which often became joyful moments shared with family.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister Rita Ridge.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Sandra House; daughter, Whitni House; sisters, Beth House and Rose House; and his cherished grandchildren, Hayden, Connor, and Aspen. Tom leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and dedication, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In keeping with Tom's wishes, there will be no services.
