VAUGHAN, Thomas 92 Nashville, June 14, 2007. Born on November 2, 1914. Survived by daughter, Julie Steele; grandson, Chad Steele; sister-in-law, Roxie Mathison; nieces, Barbara Wilson, Jean Lewis, Cheryl Darks, Harriet Morgan, Judy Knott, Diane Easterling; nephews, Jim Mathison, William Mathison; several cousins. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew T. Jefferson and Carrie Lou Vaughan; wife of 64 years, Christine Mathison Vaughan; sister, Nancy Vaughan; brother, Malcolm Vaughan. The funeral service will be at 2 pm on Monday June 18, 2007 at Brook Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Gholson officiating. Active Pallbearers are: Glenn Burnett, Jimmy Duncan, Jim Mathison, William Mathison, Fred Morgan, and Bobby Darks. Honorary Pallbearers are: Fellowship class and Prime Timers at Brook Hollow, West Meade Civitan Club, Jim Adkins, Bob Basse, Hooper Inman, Luther McDonald, Jim Michael, Stanley Brumfield, Richard Fulton, Charlie Cardwell, William Whitson, Jack Gunter, and Bud Williams. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to BHBC are requested.
