Thomas Tyree

TYREE, Thomas Vollan Passed away January 18th, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Georgie. They were married 61 wonderful years. He is also survived by sons, Barry Tyree (Sandy), Jackie Tyree (Denise), Donald Tyree (Kathy); daughters, Peggy Grubbs, Teresa Smith (Randy) and Tammy Tyree; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Tyree was a Land Developer, Residential Contractor, 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner, and member of the Goodlettsville Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday, January 20th and Friday, January 21st from 4-8 p.m., at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 22nd at 11 a.m., at the Goodlettsville Church of Christ. There will also be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to the service. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Christopher Tyree, Dustin Tyree, Brent Hull, Ethan Smith, Evan Smith and David Rippetoe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Bennett, James Carnahan, Dr. Robert Pilkinton, Steve McKinzie, Clayton Gholson, Dale Bishop, Joe Corley, Jack Cato, Charles Hackney, Randall Vance, David Luckey, Todd Burwell, Johnny Marlin, Ron Dyer and Andy Grubbs.
