Thomas Tawater

Thomas "Tommy" Tawater, of Goodlettsville, passed away on November 8, 2018 at age 62. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Tawater, and his "granny" Elizabeth Underwood. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dania Tawater; mother, Jean (Jack) Adams; his children, Tina (Christopher) O'Guin, Michael Tawater, and Nicole Alvarez; grandchildren, Harmony Johns, Shelby Simms, Wynter O'Guin, Connor O'Guin, Selena Nunez, Coley Hicks, Jacob Alvarez, and Isabella Alvarez; brothers, James Tawater and Tim Tawater; sister, Beth Deering; step-brother, Ricky Smith.
Tommy was a very talented auto mechanic, and loved to work on cars. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan, especially the Lady Vols. He loved racing, music, and loved the beach by Apalachicola Bay.
A Celebration of Life will be at Cornerstone Church Nashville on Saturday November 17, 2018 in room MC 101 from 11am until 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornerstone Nashville Church building fund.
