Thomas Goad

GOAD, Thomas M-, age 56, passed away in Dickson, TN on Saturday, August 27, 2011, following a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Kingston Springs, TN since 2002.
He was born September 3, 1954, in the Town of Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Fred Goad Sr and Patricia Lane Goad. He later moved to Nashville, TN to pursue work interests. Mr. Goad graduated from Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, TN for his undergraduate studies and later attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he earned a Master Degree in Sociology after earning Bachelor Degrees in English and Theatre Management at Carson-Newman. Mr. Goad was a member of the Kingston Springs United Methodist Church located in Kingston Springs, TN. Tom is survived by his sister, Jane, and his brother Fred Jr. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Life Celebration service will be on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 1pm, at the West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Carty officiating. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation on Saturday from 11am until the service hour at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME
