Sylvia Buckman

BUCKMAN, Sylvia May, age 87 of Hendersonville, August 21, 2007. Early in the morning of August 21, 2007 in the midst of a peaceful rest, Sylvia went to sleep in Jesus. Her struggles are over. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder W. M. Buckman and her son, Robert Edward Buckman. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Otho Buckman and Dr. David Dorothy Jeanne Buckman of Hendersonville; granddaughters, Jeanne Marie Buckman of Hendersonville and Ladele Maye Benjamin Banks of Chandler, AZ; and her 1 month old great-grand-son, Marcus Benjamin Banks. Mrs. Buckman's family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2007 at Hendersonville Funeral Home, and again that evening, from 630 - 730 p.m., at the Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church, at 118 Anderson Lane. Funeral services will follow at 730 p.m. from the church, with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating. Following the services, Mrs. Buckman will then be taken to Lansing, MI where the family will receive friends on Saturday, September 1, 2007 from 130 - 2 p.m., from the Sanctuary of the Lansing Seventh day Adventist Church, 5400 W. St. Joe Highway, with services following at 2 p.m.. Interment will be in Deepdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Building FundMortage Account of Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Gorsline - Runciman Funeral Home will be in charge of the Lansing, MI arrangements.
