Sybil Leftwich Reynolds, 89, of Columbia and formerly of White House passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born October 26, 1931 in Buffalo Valley, TN, Sybil was the daughter of the late Arden Leftwich and Ollie Allen Leftwich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Asa "Bill" Reynolds, Jr.; a daughter, Brenda Evans; sister, Virginia Tate and a brother, Glen Leftwich. Sybil retired from Metro Nashville Public Schools where she worked in food service. A consummate homemaker, she loved gardening, quilting, crocheting, cross stitching and working in her yard. She also loved playing Bingo. Sybil was a devoted and loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her son, David Arden and wife Angelia Reynolds; three granddaughters, Gayle Bowker and husband Craig, Katie Reynolds and Jessica Reynolds; her brother, Howard (Joyce) Leftwich ; 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 2 pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, 212 Hwy 76, White House, TN with a Life Celebration Service to follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, White House, TN.
