Stroud Heatherly

HEATHERLY, Stroud Leighton - Age 84 years, passed away March 15, 2014, just 31 days after his wife, Murelene Heatherly. Also, preceding him in death are parents, Ernest and Laura Heatherly; brothers, Wesley, Lillard, Daeton, and Ed Heatherly; sisters, Alta Hennegar, Hazel Gann, and Kathleen Simpson. He is survived by daughter, Debbie Russell; son, Sherwin (Terri) Heatherly; grandchildren, LaRhonda (Terry) Cart, Audrey (Aaron) Williams, Heather Russell (Ben Pugh), and Ryan Heatherly; great grandchildren, Lennox and Jace Williams; sisters, Nada Heatherly, and Jane Heatherly. He is survived by special friends, Marvin and Imogene Rogers, Troy and Marie Slay, and Evelyn Adams. The Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Troy Slay officiating. He will be laid to rest next to Murlene on Thursday, 11am, at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Cart, Aaron Williams, Ryan Heatherly, David Mundy, Lee Williams, Jody George, Ben Pugh, Gary Keith, and Roy Alsup. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Goldfarb, and Dr. Gary McDonald for their devotion and compassionate care.
