Skyler was known for her caring nature, always taking the time to ensure that everyone around her felt loved and supported. She held a special bond with her sister, Madison Childress, often taking on a motherly role, showcasing her nurturing spirit and dedication to those she loved. Her personality was as vibrant as her smile; she was often the loudest person in the room, making her presence felt and filling spaces with joy and laughter. Skyler's ability to light up a room and make herself known reflected her passion for life and her desire to connect with others.

A devoted spouse to Ley Austin, Skyler found immense pride and joy in her role as a mother to her children, Mary Beth and Waylon. They were her proudest accomplishments, and her love for them was evident in everything she did. Skyler's affection extended beyond her immediate family; she is fondly remembered by her grandmother, Vicki Moore, and is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Nyxx, Maya, and Daemon; and her aunt, Tracy Lidy.
