Sarah Mcpherson

McPHERSON, Sarah Joyce McDonald Age 77 quietly departed this life on April 7, 2011. She is now living in glory with God. She was born February 12, 1934 in Shady Grove of Hickman County, TN to Malcolm P. and Ann Totty McDonald who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, H. B. McPherson, and brother, James McDonald. She is survived by her children, Keith Tracy Brumley, Bryan Rosemary McPherson, Amy Ted Erickson; six grandchildren, David Erickson, Michael Erickson, Heather McPherson, Hannah McPherson, Sydney McPherson and Thomas McPherson, one brother, Wayne McDonald and three sisters, Ruth Hays, Marian McMeen and Linda Moody; Eleven nieces and nephews. Joyce was a member of First Southern Methodist Church where she attended services faithfully and was very active for the past 56 years. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday at First Southern Methodist Church 4409 Colorado Ave, Nashville, TN, 37209 with Rev. Jack Davis officiating. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00pm – 5:00pm Sunday at the church. The family would like to send a special thank you to Alive Hospice employees, Jerry Duszka and Beverly Walker.
