Sarah Ashworth

DODSON, Sarah Ann Strickland Ashworth, age 84 went home to be with her Lord on April 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by husbands, George Ashworth, Mack Strickland, Robert H. Dodson, Sr.; grandson, Brian Dodson. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where she loved her church family and her Friendship Sunday School Class. She is survived by devoted daughter, Teresa Dodson John Richardson; sons, Robert H. Diane Dodson, Jr., Donald R. Joanna Dodson, Randall L. Annette Dodson; devoted granddaughter, Sarah Mackenzie Blake Hunter; grandsons, Jason Abby Dodson, Brandon Amanda Dodson, Patrick Michea Dodson ; granddaughters, Debbie Dodson, Deanna Toby Heine; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 pm until 8:30 pm and prior to the funeral on Saturday at 10 am. Service will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Dr. Carl Duck officiating. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens on Hwy 100. A special thank you to the Alzheimer's Association and to the Hospice staff especially, Beverly, Theresa, Bro Dahl and Jerry.
