Ruth Annette Woodis, age 74 of White House passed away October 8, 2016. She has left her temporary home here on earth to go live in her eternal home in Heaven with her parents, Charlie and Maude Morgan of Gallatin, TN and many other special friends and family that have gone on before her. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Brent Woodis; children, Lance Woodis, Brad Woodis (Kelly) and Shane Stafford (D'Ann); grandchildren, Colby, Gracie, Hollie, Meagan, Madie and Eli Woodis, Lindsey Stafford, Brittanye Schexnayder (Brandon); 2 great-grandchildren and numerous wonderful, loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie, Henry, and George Morgan; and sister, Polly Hunter. Ruth, also known as Grandmomma was an incredibly supportive and loving wife. Her sweet spirit, words of wisdom, loyalty and love she constantly showed to her family will be forever missed. She was a Godly woman who was a blessing to all that knew her. A Life Celebration Service honoring Ruth will be held on Monday, October 10th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Cole & Garrett in White House. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, October 9th from 5-8 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
