Ruth Lamberth Escue of Goodlettsville, TN passed away peacefully Friday afternoon November 6, 2015. She was 89 years of age.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Winfred and Mary Lamberth, husband George B. Escue, daughter Judy Carol Escue, brothers, Paul, Willard and Joel Lamberth, sister, Gracie Morris.

She is survived by her son Tommy (Judy) Escue, daughter, Rosemary E. Phillips, grandchildren, Lucy (Jason) Girt, Charlie (Ochmma) Escue, Lauren (Wes) Goldberg; great-grandchildren, Khulan, Sayana and Jacoby, sisters, Catherine Harrison, Libby Lucas, brothers, Roy (Dot) Lamberth, Wesley Lamberth and Jesse (Mary) Lamberth, brother-in-law, J.C. (Jackie) Escue, sister-in-law, Leda Beth Lamberth and Jill Lamberth; step-grandchildren, Allen (Peggy) Brown, Paul (Marcia) Brown and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a precious wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Visitation will be 4-8 Sunday and 10-12 Monday with service held 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Roy Lamberth and Bro. Ashley Mofield officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to White House First Baptist Church or Alive Hospice.
