Ruth Coe

COE, Ruth E. of Nashville, TN passed away at home on July 22, 2013. She was born October 3, 1938 in Moodyville, TN and is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hila Huddleston, and one sister, June Janelle Huddleston. Mrs. Coe is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Carlos Earl Coe; son, Jack Richard Luann Coe; daughters, Patricia Bouldin and Rhonda Brooks; special son-in-law, Ricky Brooks; grandchildren, Bradley and Kristy Valentine, Erica Tad and Brittany Coe, Shelby Brooks, and Caroline Sapp; grand puppy, "Sweetie Pie"; sisters, Janet Kelly Clark and Barbara Easterly; sister-in-laws, Betty Coe and Mary Paul Allison; 7 nephews; 3 nieces; a host of other relatives and special friend, Marie Cothran. Mrs. Coe was a bus driver for Metro Schools for 27 years and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23rd from 2-8PM and Wednesday, July 24th from 10-11AM with the service at 11AM in the Chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN. Brothers Carl Duck and Larry Johnson will officiate with nephews to serve as active pall bearers. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family would like to extend a special "Thanks" to Tennessee Oncology and Gentiva Hospice.
