Rufus Smith

Rufus Taylor Smith, Sr., age 82, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 15, 2014.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Esther Smith; children, Rufus Taylor Smith, Jr., Steven Smith, Grace Rene Kopp, and Sarah Jeanette Dunnivant; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 2:30pm Sunday at the Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Dillard, Pastor Donnie Bryant and Bro. Ivan Bell officiating. A private family graveside service will be conducted at a later date in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
