Burns, Roy Michael, 82, February 5, 2007. A sweet loving husband, father, and grandfather. Everyone who knew him loved and admired him. He will be sadly missed. He was in the USMC serving in WWII and the Korean War. Member of Iron Workers Local 492 and retired from TVA. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Heller Burns. He is survived by son, Ronnie Michael Kaye Burns; daughters, Brenda Jackson much loved son-in-law, Jerry, Linda Sue Robert Deweese, Donna Gilmore; and "best friend" B.J.; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. The funeral mass will be 10 a.m. , Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at St. Henry Chapel, 6401 Harding Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
