Rosemary Kay Johnson Mosier, age 69 of Goodlettsville, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015.

Mrs. Mosier is preceded to eternal rest by father Elzie Raymond Johnson. She is survived by her mother Willie Frank Johnson; Husband of 48 ½ yrs Tom Mosier; daughter, Sondra (Dennis) Dean and children TY Dean, Mia Dean, Christa Dean, and Eli Dean; son, Kyle (Wendy) Mosier and children Anna Anderson, Alyson Mosier, Olivia Mosier, and Leah Mosier; brothers Ray (Susan) Johnson, Bobby (Linda) Johnson and Billy Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Mosier is a graduate of Hillsboro High School Class of "63". She is professionally known as Rosemary, she served 29 years as a teacher and subject coordinator with The Nashville Metropolitan Board of Education and 15 years with the State of Tennessee Department of Education. Rosemary was the recipient of various awards in education at the local and national level.

Because of her husband she is affectionately known as Kay to many friends and family at Parkway Baptist Church where she was a member for 48 years and taught many years in the youth department.

To her co-workers she was the consummate professional. To the family she and Tom established she was a devoted wife, mother and Granny.

The author of this obituary will grieve for Kay in a way known only to him. "God Bless You and Rest your Soul." - Tom

The family would like to give a special thanks and remembrances to the Staff at Brookdale of Goodlettsville and to Avalon Hospice for all your help over the last few months.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, May 18th from 4-8pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, then again on Tuesday, May 19th from 6-7pm at Parkway Baptist Church, 505 Cunniff Pkwy, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 with the Memorial Service held at 7pm.
