Ronald W. Spencer,62, of Hermitage, passed away February 14, 2020 at his home. Born May 26, 1957 in Nashville, TN he was the son of Jewell Dean Miles and the late Gerald Wayne Spencer. Ronny was also preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Janette Spencer in 2014. Ronny worked as a machinist for most of his life. He was a veteran of the USAF where he worked as an airframe repair specialist. More recently he worked in maintenance. An avid collector of all sorts of things including firearms, Ronny also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his mother, Jewel Dean Miles; his son, Ronald Spencer; grandchildren, PVT Aleah Spencer and Cory Spencer; Sisters, Donna Jimerson and Brenda Schneider; and step-sons, Ralph L. Albaneso III and Justin M. Geisse. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, Feb. 21st. at 12:30 pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN followed by inurnment with military honors at the Nashville National Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, Feb. 21st. from 10 am to 12:30 pm immediately prior to the funeral service.
