Ronald Serfass, Jr.

SERFASS, Jr. Ronald V. died March 5, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron is survived by his father and mother, Ron and Diane Serfass, his devoted wife, Margaret Foster Serfass, their children Anna and Michael, his sisters and their families, Karen and Joe Stamps and Stephanie, Donna and Matt Wolfe, Matthew and Diana, Debbie and Jeff Morales, Vincent, Mark and Joseph, his father-in-law, Moe and Janis Foster and Bob Foster. Ron was a Communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was well known in Middle Tennessee for his abilities in the Plastic Injection Molding field. He was a talented "handy man" for his family and friends, teaming with his beloved father on many creative projects. Ron loved to be with family, going to the lake, cheering for the Tennessee Vols, the Tennessee Titans and watching NASCAR. Ron leaves too soon, his dear friends from Father Ryan High School, Barry Ambuehl, Dan Niznik, Sean Sweeney and Scott Sweeney. We are grateful for Ron's dedicated team of doctors and nurses at St. Thomas Hospital. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dan Rudy Cancer Center Fund c/o St. Thomas Foundation, 4220 Harding Rd. Nashville, TN 37202. Funeral Mass will be 12 noon, March 9th, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, TN. Visitation at the church 11am-12pm Tuesday. Private family burial to follow.
