Ronald Laughland

Ronald William Laughland, 85, of Nashville, Tn passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at Williamson Medical Center. Born in Charleroi, PA August 22, 1937, he was the son of the late James M. and Angeline Laughland. Ronald was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Laughland and sister, Norma Chanko.

Mr. Laughland served 20 years in the military and fought in the Vietnam War. He retired from the military after he found God and became a Christian. Upon returning to civilian life, he received a master’s in theology from Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Tx. He was the Pastor of Whole World Church of God for 18 years. Ronald was very funny, loved sweets and was a loving human being.

He is survived by his brother, David Laughland (Carol); daughters, Julia Laughland and Stephanie Rozick; grandchildren, Emerson Dunn, Kate Gallagher and Daniel Rozick; brother- in law, Paul Chanko; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Ronald will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tn, Sunday April 2nd from 12 noon to 1pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm following the visitation. Interment will be 9am Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery located 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221.
