Ronald Cole

Ronald “Steve” Cole, 69 of Greenbrier passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. Born January 27, 1952 in Monterey, TN he was the son of the late Dewey Cole and Lena Hallum Cole. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Janet. Steve worked in the flooring business for many years as a carpet layer. He currently worked with his son, Brandon, in the music industry. Steve was an easy-going man. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Piper and Carson. He was an Army veteran having served in Korea during the Viet Nam era. Steve was also an animal lover. He had a way with chipmunks, field mice and squirrels which would eat out his hands. He also had his own dogs, Bell and Sophie. Steve is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joanie Harris Cole; two sons, Christopher Shannon Cole and Jonathan Brandon Cole; grandchildren, Piper and Carson; sister, Becky Cole; and brother, Shane Allen Cole. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a date to be announced. Inurnment with military honors will be at the Nashville National Veteran’s Cemetery.
