Robert Ragan

Mr. Robert Blake Ragan, age 85 of Madison, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gila and Horace Ragan; brothers, Joe Ragan and Lloyd Ragan; sister, Elizabeth Robertson; wife, Joyce Carleise Binkley Ragan; and a son, Danny Keels.
Mr. Ragan is survived by his wife of 22 years, Pauline (Polly) Sloan Ragan; son, David (Michelle) Ragan; daughters, Vivian (Tom) Ragan-Hemingway, Judy (Jon) Hunter, Kay (Jeff) Carrigan, and Lori (Glenn) Hollis; brother, Johnnie Ragan; grandchildren, Robby Ragan, Emily, Seth and Wyatt Hemingway, Dawn (Peter) Lopez, Danny Keels, Jr., Scott (Brooke) Keels, Justin (Kim) Hunter, Jessica Hunter, Ben (Amy) Carrigan, Brent Carrigan, Tyler (Caitlyn) Browning, and Trevor Browning; great-grandchildren, Robert Jackson (Bo) Ragan, Mason and Amber Horbath, Christian and Mia Lopez, Shaylee and Gage Keels, Liam Keels, McKenzie Hunter, Carter, Jackson and Harrison Carrigan.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, and again from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday at the Madison Church of Christ, with Bro. Bobby Hudson officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Joelton Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Robby Ragan, Danny Keels, Jr., Scott Keels, Ben Carrigan, Brent Carrigan, Justin Hunter, Tyler Browning and Trevor Browning. Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth and Wyatt Hemingway.
