Age 82 of Nashville. Sunday, April 8, 2007. Mr. Cope was self-employed contractor in the Nashville area for many years. He was a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his son, Dennis Wayne Cope; mother, Irene Palmer (Leon) Watson; father, Fred S. (Louise) Cope; great-grandson, Joey Cunningham; sister, Frances (Lawton) Trenary. Mr. Cope is survived by his loving wife, Jo Reba Cope; sons, Robert Fred (Cheri) Cope, Jr. and Ronald (Joyce) Cope of Gallatin, TN; brothers, Claude (Dot) Cope of Portland, TN and Jerry (Danna) Cope of Frankfort, KY; sisters, Nancy (Ed) Pinkston of Erin, TN and Kaye (Wendell) Cline of Hendersonville, TN; aunt, Clara Negley of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Alan (Kristy) Cope, Jimmy (Lisa) Cope, Leanne (Bert) Padock, Deana (Eric) Cunningham, Sheron (Adam) Davidson, Andrea Cope, Leslie (Josh) Leyhew and Steven Cope; eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Goodlettsville Church of Christ on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11 a.m., with Bro. Charles Baugh, Fred Cope and Alan Cope officiating. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Interment Palmer Family Cemetery, White House, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m., at COLE & GARRETT FUNERAL HOME, 127 N.
