Richard Vester

VESTER, Richard "Shakey" 77, Nashville, April 26, 2008. Preceded in death by brother, Joe Vester; sister, Mildred Hughes Olney and Jewell Henderson. Survived by wife, Ruth Vester; sister, Betty Lowry. He was retired from Metro Government and a member of Monroe St. United Methodist Church, Cumberland Masonic Lodge, Al-Menah Shrine Temple, Kalb Hollow Association, Rock City Eastern Star, and a life member of the Al-Menah Clown Unit. The funeral service will be at 11 am on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Turner officiating. Honorary pallbearers are, Enis Carter, Dennis Belford, the Al-Menah Shrine Clown Unit, Metro Warrants Division, General Session Judges, Rickey Rooker, and the Perry Country Shrine Club. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers are Bobby Kephart, Pat Sharpe, Doug Hughes, Richard Vaughn, Steven Vaughn, Al Cunningham, and Michael Rigsby. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital, c/o Al-Menah Temple 1354 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.
