Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 16, 1920 Departed on February 8, 2007 and resided in FT. Myres, FL

HOY, Raymond B. Age 86, died peacefully in Fort Myers, Florida. He is survived by his
wife of 62 years, Elva Carlson Hoy, his sons and daughters-in-law,
Gregory Ann Hoy MD of Fort Myers, Florida and Gary Lise Hoy of
Nashville, TN, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and sister,
June Drewes of Palm Coast, Florida. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Jillaine A. Hoy. As a member of the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific, he participated
with the first wave to go ashore at Guadalcanal in August 1942. He
was Chief Electrical Engineer for Lone Star Cement Corp. Past Master
of Wantagh Masonic Lodge #1112 and Past Patron of Neptune Chapter
#847 Order of the Eastern Star both on Long Island, New York. Mr. Hoy
was a very active Shriner both in New York and Florida.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 pm to 3 pm. at Harpeth
Hills Funeral Home . Masonic services will be performed at 2:30 p.m. followed by services at 3:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
