Randall Allen Hall, a dedicated professional and beloved family member, passed away on February 1, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on April 2, 1965, in Fort Hood, Texas. Randall's life was characterized by his commitment to his family, friends, and various pursuits that brought him joy.
Allen graduated from Harrison Central High School in Lyman, Mississippi. Following his education, he proudly served in the United States Navy from October 1983 to October 1987. During his service, he served aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN68) and the USS Dahlgren (DDG43), experiences that undoubtedly shaped his strong character and work ethic.
After his military service, Allen embarked on a career that included working as an able seaman on push barges on the Mississippi River, supply boats serving oil rigs off the Louisiana coast, and a supertanker that transported fuel from Texas to various states and countries across the globe. His career took a significant turn when he joined AT&T in September 1992, where he dedicated himself until his retirement in May 2024.
Allen's love for traveling reflected his zest for life, and he fostered connections with family and friends that extended well beyond mere acquaintanceship. He is survived by his sister, Glenda Hall; special family friends, Sara Linton-Harris and Clay Harris; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, George Hall and Wanda Vasser, who instilled in him the values of integrity and dedication that he carried throughout his life. His memory will remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and the warmth he brought to all his relationships.
